Our History

With a need for wrap around care being evident in Torrington, the Family Project was formed in 1995. Being a registered charity, the Project relies on grants, funding and volunteers on the Committee.

We are always looking for new members, if you are interested in providing support for a local charity please contact us to see how you can get involved - it could be as part of the Committee, or possibly within one of our creches or Club sessions.

The Committee is made up of parents/carers and representatives of others who work with children. It is both worthwhile and very rewarding being part of the Committee. There is also a Coordinator who is responsible for the day to day running of the Project, Lynne Goodman.

Parents have requested all of the services we provide and we are always looking for new ideas for Clubs, fundraising and ideas or suggestions of what you would like to have for your children in Torrington.
